We're recruiting for a Marketing Executive!

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking bus operator, Go South Coast, as a Marketing Executive. Our vision is to be the company that people want to work for and travel with. Our bus brands include Bluestar, morebus, Damory Salisbury Reds, Southern Vectis & Swindon's Bus Company.

Ideally this will be your second marketing role, as we are looking for someone with proven experience to join our busy team. You will work alongside the wider marketing and design team with a focus on our Bluestar brand. The role will be located in Eastleigh, but with frequent requirements to work at our head office in Poole.

You will provide support and assistance in various marketing projects from updating websites, to sending items to print or working on copy for news articles and promotional leaflets.

This is a hands on role, where you will get to gain experience in every aspect of marketing. From planning a campaign, sourcing items and print or representing us at promotional events.

You will need to have creative flair, an eye for detail, and an ability to work to deadlines. Knowledge of public transport and, in particular, the bus industry would be an advantage.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in a previous marketing position
  • Knowledge and experience of direct marketing and customer satisfaction
  • Hold a marketing qualification or be able to demonstrate past experience
  • Excellent written skills, including copy writing, spelling and grammar
  • Creative flair with an eye for detail
  • Fantastic organisational skills and be able to alter priorities at short notice
  • Ability to thrive on working in a pressurised environment and to strict deadlines
  • A UK driving licence (preferred)
