ways to pay

There are four ways of buying bus tickets for travel on bluestar and unilink; pay the bus driver using cash or contactless, our key smartcard, our 'Clickit2Ride' mobile app or from the Bluestar travel shop in Southampton. There are a number of bus tickets available including single and return tickets, dayriders and period bus tickets.

singles & return bus tickets

 
Single and return bus tickets are perfect if you're only travelling now and again. Take a look at our bus fares. Pay by cash or contactless.
 

day bus tickets

 
Valid for a whole days unlimited travel, hop on and off our buses as much as you like in one day.
 

period bus tickets

 
If you travel regulary you can save money by getting a 7, 30, 90 day or annual bus ticket. Start saving today! 
 

 

child bus tickets

If you're 5-15 years old you're eligible for child bus fares. We have great value singles, returns and weekly child bus tickets too. Children under 5 travel for free, with a fare paying adult...

If you're aged 60 & over or registered disabled you can travel on our buses free of charge. Rules of travel differ from council to council, so check before you travel.
